Welcome to May!

The weather's getting better, so maybe it's time to follow in the footsteps of our forebearers... and head out into the forest with crates of booze and have "picnics" with our sweeties!

This illustration was originally an ad for Kupferberg Gold champagne that appeared in the German A&E magazine Jugend. It's another example of how they don't make 'em like they used to anymore!

March is underway

... and here's a look at how they used to advertise booze in 1908. This drawing by Georg Hanel was featured in "Jugend" Magazine.

(And if we were put in charge of marketing adult beverages today, we'd follow the lead of ad executives of yore and rely on fantasy elements, too!)

It's January!

 Santa Claus is almost done working for the year, and he's stocking up for a month-long bender with Mrs. Claus. 

It will be a season of merriment not just for the Clauses, but for everyone who live near the world-famous Santa's Workshop. The whole community will be getting blitzed high-quality booze, thanks to the Jolly One's inadvertent generosity!
