 August 2021 was Roman Polanski Month at the Shades of Gray blog. We did to observe his 88th birthday, and honor his talent as a filmmaker. Over the course of the posts, we also covered parts of his private life... as well as touched upon the fact that he's a rather vile human being.

    Why did you use the qualifier "rather" in front of the word "Vile?"

      Because I can think of a number of even more vile public figures. Gary Glitter and O.J. Simpson spring to mind immediately.
