On this Wonder Woman Wednesday, we bring you pictures of our favorite Amazon engaging in some of the most unusual superheroic deeds she's been called on to perform.

First up, since the early 1950s, she has regularly volunteered to help clear mine fields.

She sometimes fills in for her friend Nancy down at Kadie's Bar.

She is also dedicated to confiscating illegal drugs from the kids and dealers and then destroying those drugs before they can ruin lives.

Finally, she often volunteers to clear the skeletons and zombies out of the Shades of Gray offices. You wouldn't believe the number of them that either remain behind, or who show up late and refuse to leave, whenever Peculia or Betty Boop & Bimbo stop in for a visit or a party.

Legend has it that Wonder Woman's personal presence is so powerful that she causes some people to see stars by just showing up. Today, we test that theory. Please let us know if any of the featured portraits cause you to see stars (other than the ones on her outfit).

Meanwhile, Wonder Woman is grateful that comic book characters can't catch Covid-19, so she, her friends, and her comic-book universe fans can keep hanging out--and even have Thanksgiving Dinner together! We wish WE were comic book characters, too!

Monsters and deadly viruses are abroad in the world this Halloween season, but Wonder Woman stands ready to protect the innocent as ever--even if the Powers That Be are afraid to release her latest movie! She's joined today by sidekicks Batman and Superman, so we'll all be able to rest easy as the shadows deepen...

How can you tell Halloween is coming?

The air is turning cold... the shadows are deepening... and Vampirella is dropping by Shades of Gray for her annual visits!

Meanwhile, Wonder Woman will continue her bi-weekly appearances as well, since her latest movie has been postponed again. Although, since she was expecting to be off because of her movie coming out, all she's doing is showing the costume she'll be wearing for Halloween: She'll be going as the goddess Diana.
